Totally helps with bills

Totally worth every dime out of my paycheck! Pet insurance is a must have if you have a active sporting dog who likes to get into things and is a social being! Nationwide helped out at the time I needed it most and I will continue with them until my little one is no longer. Thank you for being there for Raye:)

Best investment we've ever made.

Kaiser is our 5th Boxer throughout 39 years, yet the first we have gotten insurance for. Despite our best efforts, he unfortunately has needed to visit the vet more than the others. We couldn't be more pleased with the service we have received . We recommend to every pet owner we know!

Nationwide is the Best Pet Insurance

I wasn't sure when VPI became Nationwide Pet Insurance, but I am sold. The customer service is excellent. I ruined a reimbursement check (by accident) and called. Within 10 minutes, I was assured by Heather that it was no problem, that these things happen, and another check would be reissued. So far, I have been very impressed with Nationwide Pet Insurance!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
