Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

We love Nationwide!! It is very easy to file a claim and they are very timely in processing it. We have them for both our dog and cat and would not be without these policies. Vet visits and treatments can be expensive so having Nationwide for our fur babies is a true blessing!!

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been pretty easy to use; I added it to my VitusVet app and use that to submit. Claims are processed within a couple weeks and a check arrives in the mail. Making claims is easy although I am usually unsure of what will be paid back to me. I have both the Major Medical and the Wellness Plus Rider. The Wellness Plus covers a good value of her vaccinations/shots and her standard bloodwork, but covers very, very little of her heartworm/tick medicine (covers less than half the year of cost for heartgard and nexgard). I feel like I may just be breaking even on this portion of the plan. The Major Medical is a good piece of mind but I have, fortunately, not needed to utilize this part of the plan.

Terrific service. Pleasure doing business with. Had one issue regarding direct deposit. Checks were sent to bank, bank never received them. I had to cancel that service. No big deal because a paper check is issued within 2 days.

Joining the Nationwide team for Pet Insurance was the smartest move that we ever made , after adopting our rescues , of course !

The claim process is easy and it doesn't take too long to get updates on your claim as it's processing.
