Nation Wide came to the rescue!

I hesitated at first when deciding to sign up because of the extra cost to all my other bills and services. But, I am so glad I decided to enroll and keep Daisy’s plan with Nation Wide. It has helped me with several visits recently and in my opinion was a great help! Thank you!

Getting Nationwide Insurance was the best thing I could have done for Gingersnap.

After adopting Gingersnap, she was subsequently diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease). This diagnosis entailed numerous diagnostic tests, biopsies, blood work, etc. Ongoing treatment requires periodic veterinary visits and blood work as well as daily medication and prescription diets. Without Nationwide Insurance I sincerely doubt that I could continue to afford to keep my sweet girl. Thank you Nationwide!

Great company to do business with.

This is a wonderful company. They were one of the companies our vet recommended. Their assistance with all our vet bills has been a life saver. They have covered virtually everything we encountered with our Sophie. I could never envision doing business with anybody else. I am so glad we got pet insurance through Nationwide. If you don't have it, get it. Thank you.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
