Nationwide is the insurance for my dog, wonderful service!

Wonderful service. My Yorkie was a rescue and estimated at 4 years old. He has had many health issues. National wide was my choice for insurance. I’m so glad that I made that choice. Very good coverage. He still has health issues. He was in a puppy mill. Very frightened of everything in a household. Even the ice falling from the ice maker. Never been on a leash. Never been on steps. Wonderful pet now and healthy because I’d the wonderful coverage for him. Thank you Nationwide,

The addition of the app for claims submission is phenomenal, I have been able to submit claims within an hour of the time Moose

I am part of a Bernese Mountain Dog Facebook group and when questions about insurance come up I have no hesitation telling people about my positive experiences. I have also added to my comments about the addition of the VitusVet app. We have used the insurance since he was a puppy and I can only hope that we will continue to receive the same care as he ages (he is now 8.5).

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
