Nationwide truly provides the best and most comprehensive healthcare for your pet
I have never seen a more comprehensive healthcare package for a pet than Nationwide. They literally cover everything and then some. And claims are easy to submit and the claim reimbursements are timely and cover 90% for the Pet Wholeness plan.

I can give my dogs the best care available with Nationwide Pet Insurance.
I have had this pet insurance for 7 years, and it has helped to give my dogs the best care available. My fur babes are happy and healthy, and this mom feels less anxious!

Eases my stress with an accident-prone dog
I have a 3.5 yo Vizsla and just as I thought his energy might be tapering out he has in recent months completely reverted to crazy puppyhood (chipped his took down to the root, annoyed an elderly dog which resulted in a severe bite and several staples, torn up paw pads from running uncontrollably around rough terrain). I recently switched to nationwide because my company subsidized it, but I was worried to do so because our previous insurance company tried to scare me by telling me Nationwide doesn’t cover costs for many incidents. To my very pleasant surprise they were wrong! Nationwide has been wonderful, easy to use, and they have helped us out financially with all of our vet trips for Goose’s accidents. I really like Nationwide so far!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
