Macie and I love Nationwide. They make it possible for us to be able to get Macie the necessary health care she needs!

After having previously owned two dogs without health insurance, we wanted to try a plan that would help us in covering the costs of our new puppy's health care. Almost 8 years later, we are so glad we did! We got both injury/illness coverage and it has been a great help!

Quick Claim Turn Around

The claim reimbursements have gotten quicker - from 4 weeks to 2 weeks average processing time. I am glad to have Nationwide by our side. We have peace of mind knowing that we are covered when our little "girl" gets sick or injured. We will never have to make a life or death decision based solely upon money. Thank you Nationwide!

Great People and fast response

We have a emergency with Cora and has to took her to ER when we was there doctors said they have to do surgery, I wasn’t sure how the insurance work so I made a call the person on the other side of the line just told me “Don’t worries about nothing right now please take care Cora and I will take care all your insurance needs on this side Hope Cora get well soon” that was a huge piece of mind... she call me later and first question was How cora is doing? She took the time to explain and help me with all paperwork... thanks for be on our side

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
