Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

The pet insurance has been a blessing. My dog has been on medication and has vet visits several times a year for many health issues. The insurance has helped her to get the best care. I do submit my claims by fax and I find that on several occasions, the fax is down so that has been frustrating.

Nationwide and Vitus vet has made pet insurance easy! Submitting a claim is simple, and the Vitus vet app is a user friendly way to do it.I have no problems submitting claims and the reimbursement is quick . Keep up the good work!

Fantastic customer service. Thank you so much. My baby is completely recovered from her illness and it was reassuring to know that nationwide would help me cover the cost of treatment for my baby.

I had issues submitting my claim from my phone so I tried from my iPad and still had issues so I ended up having to do it from my computer. I no longer have a computer so hopefully the claim submission process from a mobile device has been resolved. My biggest issue with my first claim is that it took almost two months before I received my money back. The site says most are done within 30 days. Another issue I had is that I was the one having to call in to check on the status. After the first few days of submitting my claim, I called in to make sure everything was OK only to be told I needed to submit more information. Had I not called in, I would’ve never known. If additional information was needed, I should have been notified by the company — it shouldn’t be up to the customer to call in and then be told. If it wasn’t for me calling in this claim probably would’ve taken even longer to get resolved.
