Time Consuming & Processing Delay
The representative's concern for pets is noteworthy! I like that personal touch. The pet'swell-being is always in the forefront. And the representatives are always a pleasure to speak with.
But the processing infrastructure of Nationwide is a never ending nightmare. From incorrect (inaccurate) denials, to following up about status, to waiting a MINIMUM of 30 days for claim payment. It has always been like this. And I am paying through the nose for the premier level policy features. But the wait time is unjustified. And nailing down some accountability for how individuals follow through with issues, leaves much to be desired. If the plan that I'm on didn't exist, then I'd be much less likely to recommend Nationwide. I would recommend "pet insurance" in general. But a policy holder must have plenty of experience to know just how to get the most out of their request for a claim. I'm going to say "no" to recommend just because I don't believe there is enough (honest) help or advice available. And that Nationwide would rather deny than approve.
