I appreciate the customer care from Nationwide, more than I could express in one sentence.

Nationwide really cares about their customers and their pets and they helped me in some difficult situations that my dog faced at a young age. They're great to work with and communicate with as well. I believe they do care about the customer and not just getting your monthly premium in their pocket. Thanks, Nationwide!

Happy to have Nationwide Pet Insurance for Thunder

Having Nationwide Pet Insurance for Thunder gives me piece of mind that if anything happens to him they will be there for us. The wellness policy is a great feature and helps cover the cost of routine vaccinations. Thunder has been under the Nationwide pet insurance plan since I adopted him from the shelter. I recommend Nationwide pet insurance to all pet parents. Thank you Nationwide Pet Insurance for caring about Thunder when he was at the doctor for allergies. The follow up email asking how Thunder was doing pleasantly surprised me. Thank you for showing compassion and concern.

Best Pet Insurance

I have the whole wellness plan and it has been a really good decision. My Cooper gets to have the best care and it is all covered under this policy. It is a definite must have if you have a pet and affordable. The claims process is easy and customer service is outstanding. It is nice to have someone on your side looking out for my pet.

Awesome pet insurance

All vlaums paud timely and correctly. Whenever I called, representatives are polite and helpful. One of the few insurance companies I never had an issue with.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
