Happy customers

We are very happy with Nationwide Pet Insurance as it covers 90% of our pet vet visits, medications and it has been very helpful. The claim process is easy to follow and done in timely maner. Would totallly recommend!

pretty darn good product

this is our third year with Nationwide Pet and so far it has been a very useful insurance and very easy to file claims and receive the payments via EFT to our bank. If you take good care of your pet the costs can get out of hand, but with this product it is better managed. The cost of the insurance is well worth the protection it gives.

Not happy with the price going up more than 50%

I am not happy with the monthly increase of more than 50%. How can it go up from $80.54 to $125.00 ? is it because of the claims submitted? Isn't that why we have insurance?

Best insurance ever. Wish my health insurance worked this easily.

I’ve had Nationwide per insurance now for 2 years going on 3. I’ve had to use it few times and so surprised how easy it was to file claim and follow up on claims. And Get reimbursed al fast. Amazing. Thank you.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
