UNHAPPY
Unhappy with the quality of the nationwide pet insurance. We only used it once and were not pleased with the outcome. Our puppy, Ravioli had an emergency visit to the hospital with a 2 night stay. We received the claim back with items that were required by the vet for his health that nationwide refused to cover including the following:
- We maxed out for his condition, so the full amount was not paid.
- refused to pay for a parasite test even though the vet required that be tested due to blood in his stool
- refused to pay for probiotic medication that was given to us by the vet due to his condition.
Don't understand why items REQUIRED by the vet for his health were not covered due to the emergency visit.
Just submitted a new claim due to his 2nd visit to the vet. looking forward what will be refused this time.
