Easy to use and speedy service

Easier than I thought it would be!

Knight is 5 yrs old and this is the first time we had to file claims for him. He had a cancerous tumor removed and it was very upsetting to everyone in our house, but at least we didn't have to worry about the financial aspect of it - only of Knight getting better. Nationwide processed the claims faster than expected. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has a pet!!

Nationwide Pet Insurance eases the financial burden of vetinary care for your furbaby.

Nationwide customer service and claims processing are quick and generous. My sweet guy has allergies and recurring ear infections that have resulted in numerous trips to the vet and plenty of treatments and medications. Nationwide has processed my claims quickly and I have received a substantial reimbursement on each claim, after the application of my deductible of course. We've had Nationwide since he was a pup and I just added a policy for my new puppy. The service and reimbursement rates are phenomenal.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
