Filing a claim is easy and the response time is very quick.
The coverage is good, but the increase in premiums as Grace gets older is very discouraging.

Fair service, steep premium
Having been a NatPet insurance client for over 4 years, I can’t recall a single time when I have been reimbursed the full amount of my claims, always something (NA, service not covered, deductibles etc etc ). In my last claim
I have been cut $100 short at once because of deductions, but my point is I never expected the full reimbursement (not nice). Also the premium start around $50 dollars for each dog is now almost $88.
The premiums increase will be worst since I have another dog to be covered by insurance, but definitely we need to get an agreement about prices because I can not afford to paid that much insurance (3)three times .

Great Relief
Very happy with the coverage, customer service. The website is very user friendly and the payments are very quick. I would send have recommended Nationwide to my friends for their pet insurance.

Best customer service experience i have had in a very long time
I submitted a sizable claim but there were issues with the invoice being unreadable, agent Christy Mueller reached out and went above and beyond to settle the claim. She repeatedly tried to work with the vets office to no avail but continued to keep an open line of communication with me providing me real time updates. I was able to get legible copies of the invoices to Christy and she expedited resolving the claim. She was extremely helpful and a joy to work with, i hope all Nationwide Pet Insurance employees are half as helpful as she which would still be excellent. Bravo and thank you Christy

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
