I wish I had gone with another insurance company.

Your web site says you cover 90% and yet you barely covered my recent claim even though I have the Whole Pet policy. What am I paying for??? Customer service rep was condescending and unhelpful.

We love our pets as members of our family and we are thankful that we have medical coverage for them.

We make sure Daisy has the best that we can afford. Having health care coverage for her has made that easier on our budget since we are both on a fixed income. Daisy has been having some serious issues with diarrhea and although she is somewhat better, she is still taking two different medications to try to reverse the issues. Without the insurance, we would have really been strapped financially to provide the care she is receiving.

Amazing Service

I've never had a problem with my dog's insurance and it really does cover a lot of his medical exams and procedures needed to keep my dog healthy and happy. The one time I had to call the insurance company they picked up right away and the rep was extremely helpful. I would recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to every one.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
