Surprised
Extremely easy to file the claim, if I have any disappointment at all, it would be that Andre's flea and tick meds were not reimbursed near as much as his heartworm prevention meds were or the Vet visit itself.

Great Pet Insurance
I am very pleased with the way Nationwide process my claims. Very easy and very quick. So far, I have not encountered any issues which I have experienced in the past with other pet insurance provider.

Thankful
I am so thankful to have Pet insurance for our dog. He was attacked by a deer last summer and needed emergency surgery. He had a few other issues since then and the insurance was a great thing to have so he could get the care he needed. I would never have a dog with the insurance.

Waiting Period

Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
