Pet Insurance give us peace of mind knowing our pet's needs are taken care of.

We have been with Nationwide pet since we adopted our pups 9 years ago. It has always given us peace of mind knowing that we are setting money aside to care for our pets routine and unexpected needs. It's simple and quick submitting claims through Nationwide. Reimbursement online is fairly quick and convenient. We are glad we have chosen to protect our pets through Nationwide Pet Insurance.

Thank you for covering the laser treatments- she healed amazingly fast!

Thank you for your coverage. Because of you Jet could heal very quickly due to covering the laser treatments. The cast & splint are already off and the deep cut has healed enough that it can't tear open again. I'm very impressed - not only with the healing power of the body, but that technology can help speed the healing process! Thank you for making that happen! I've been telling friends to switch to Nationwide for the excellent coverage & instant claims..

Great company

We so appreciate Nationwide. Kelley is 9 and has had very good health. As with humans, as dogs age, health issues arise. Our vet is very thorough and keeps such a good and caring eye on his clients. We are lucky to have such a good vet and a sweet schnauzer! Thank you for your help in caring for God’s creatures!

The claim processing time and ease of use has improved a lot from last year.

The overall process has improved dramatically from when I filed my first claim last year. Submitting the clAim through the app is easy and quick and the processing of the claims are much faster now. The electronic payment method is great.

Great coverage, user friendly

I am so happy that I purchased Nation Wide Insurance for my dog. Nation Wide has made it so simple to issue a claim via the VitusVet App. I simply take a photo of the invoice with the app and submit the claim. Within 24 hours I receive an email verification that Nation Wide has received the claim. I have already recommended Nation Wide to several of my friends that have pets.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
