Excellent with the big details, not so much with the little

My dog and I have had your insurance for two years. It has been wonderful. The ease of getting customer service, reimbursements, and excellent coverage. Although it may not be a big deal, receiving an email when it is my dog's birthday does say a lot about a company that cares about us even when we are not needing you at the moment. Rose has been overlooked for two years.

Fast processing of claims

I have been using Nationwide Pet Insurance to insure my 3 English Mastiffs' health for over a year now, and despite a rocky start with my first claim, now that I know what they want, I find that my claims are processed and payment received within approx 1-2 weeks. I'm very happy. It is so helpful to know that I don't have to decide on my dogs' healthcare vs my financial situation (if I can afford the vet's bills). Also I found a new vet who is very experienced and very reasonable with his fees, so I no longer sweat bullet that I will go over the $7500 max coverage per year. Overall I have peace of mind and am happy with Nationwide Pet Insurance.

Thankful to have, process could improve

Grateful to have the insurance at a unexpected and critical time for my kitty. The claims process was a bit frustrating. When additional information was needed it was not clear till I had to make 2 phone calls that a gap letter was needed. After I didn’t submit any new information, it still took several weeks more to process. When I would call in I could not get any ETA or anything further.
