Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

Very efficient and to let on reimbursements. It’s been a very goo service for my pet, however, my policy went up 55% and I feel it was due to my recent claim. I have the same coverage but opted for the $250. Deductible instead of what I had been paying ($100 deductible) and it’s still a lot more monthly. I feel it’s not fair and my let doesn’t have a major illness and her medication is very inexpensive. It was the procedures that were expensive.

We were with VPI Pet Insurance for years before it joined with Nationwide. We have had nothing but positive results with claims filed for each of our dogs. Most notably, when our Bernese Mountain Dog, Stella, needed special care, Nationwide was right there supporting us and helping us with the tough decisions that had to be made. Sawyer has also had some big issues and each time, Nationwide has been there for us. Nationwide has provided us the avenue to explore all medical options for our irreplaceable pets.

Skyler is doing well. Thank you for processing the claim so quickly. Knowing we have the insurance encourages to seek vet care more routinely than we may have otherwise. This, of course, leads to a healthier and happier dog.

Vets are expensive. Whether you’re going in for vaccinations, stool sample, medications... you name it — the bill can be ridiculous. With nationwide pet insurance, I don’t worry about those things anymore. When I feel my dog needs to see a vet, nationwide makes it easy to feel comfortable taking her in and not worrying about the bill. They make it ridiculously easy to submit a claim. All you do is send a copy of your receipt, receive a confirmation email that your claim has been submitted and in a few weeks you have a check in the mail. It’s so simple. I love my dogs pet insurance so much, I’m actually considering switching my auto and renters insurance over to nationwide. I had an extremely bad experience with State Farm and if nationwide is half as good at auto insurance as they are for pet insurance... sign me up. 10/10 would recommend.
