Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

So relieved I went with Nationwide for my golden retriever pup!! We have had to file claims for help with a few medical bills. Even though it turned out to be something easy to fix, watching him not eating, not gaining enough weight and vomiting in the mornings was heartbreaking. We found a vet we love and now all he needs is an acid reducer pill. He is eating, not throwing up bile or food anymore and happy/playful. Nationwide gave me such great assistance from being able to switch vets, being able to pay for different tests needed, paying my claims quickly...and most of the bills were paid!! They are VERY fair. I’m also happy I got both the wellness and illness/injury plans. Well worth the premiums!!!!!!! They really do care about your pets.

I never remember what my policy covers. I trust the claims department completely to pay claims according to my coverage. Never have had a problem with a claim and claims are paid quickly.

Yes, it is frustrating to have to pay up front, especially on some costly bills we have had, however, this gives me peace of mind we can go anywhere and still have most of her emergency/unexpected visits covered in addition to full coverage on routine care. We plan to enroll our dogs when we get them too! Customer service and reimbursement are both timely!

It was super easy to file the claim. Although Mia went for a wellness exam and vaccines, I know the heartache of having to suffer along with a fur baby that is very I'll and trying to provide the best care possible on a limited budget. I am so glad for nationwide. After using the insurance I have peace of mind that if Mia would need care due to an illness or injury I would be able to give her the care and attention she needs without an additional burden of cost.
