Incredible life saving experience.

My dog needed emergency surgery 3 weeks ago. As we all know, we're dealing under strenuous economic times due to COVID-19, and paying that money up front was not easy but it was life or death for my dog. Thanks to you guys, 90% of the cost I spent was able to be reimbursed. And the claim took less than a week to be deposited electronically into my account. I've never had a claim completed so quickly. I was reimbursed before his stiches were removed! Every pet I have, now and in the future, will have Nationwide pet insurance. You've made a customer for life, and I've been spreading the word. Thank you!

Very easy process

The process was very easy and the cost reasonable. Have 2 puppies insured and it’s a relief to know they are covered for what ever may happen in the future. We have major medical and wellness coverage.

Stellar plan, I’d be lost without nationwide ins. Thx

I’m so happy to have nationwide. This complete plan has been a life saver for my pup . I’d never be able to get his treatment without this plan. Highly recommend any pet owner to have this. You’ll be so glad to have it as they age. Start them young and always have it. I learned the hard way with another dog who passed from heart issues. If I had insurance I could have done more. Be responsible and consider this as part of the cost of being a human to a fur baby. We are all they have, take care of them with knowing you can help them when they need it. I guarantee they will need something expensive at some point.

Best insurance - no issues ever

I have 6 pets. 5 are covered by Nationwide Insurance. The other dog has a different insurance policy. Compared to Nationwide, it is a horrible policy. Nationwide is the best at customer service and also for easiness in submitting claims online. I never have any issues with them. I would recommend this insurance (and have done so) to anyone with a pet.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
