Very easy to use, quick payment. All around a great service.

We needed to get our dog's teeth cleaned and during the cleaning they found 2 cracked teeth so had to apply sealant to those. The claim process was super easy and very fast. Always been very easy to deal with Nationwide for claims.

Best Pet Insurance Company Ever!

Gracie is finally doing much better and I am grateful that Nationwide was there to make her care possible. She got very sick upon the death of my husband. It took a long time and much effort of her providers to get her well, much longer than they expected. However, Gracie is very sensitive and the loss of her Dad was very difficult for her and I think that her body bared the burden of the loss. Thanks to Nationwide insurance,I was able to get her the care she needed and on the road to recovery!

Nationwide Pet Insurance is GREAT!

When I purchased pet insurance (offered by J&J) I really thought that I would get very little back on a claim. I was wrong Nationwide has reimbursed 100% for nearly all of Koa's claims. He is very happy about that. If Koa, the grand puppy, is happy, so am I!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
