Claim Submission Process Easy & Fast

The claims submission process was very easy, and the claims were reviewed and processed very quickly (<1 week). I also appreciate the plan option to include Wellness exams, as I am a huge proponent for preventative care (which may reduce cost for my pet later on in life, and reduce utilization and costs in the overall industry if done in aggregate).

Filing a claim is easy, customer service is amazing, and I would recommend this company.

I called to ask a question about a claim and my call was answered right away, even though I was told there would be a wait. The rep was very friendly, and asked how Wrangler was doing.

Always satisfied with the service.

I love Nationwide pet insurance. I feel safe and confident that I can take my three dogs to the vet anytime they are sick or on their annual check ups and vaccines, because I know I have pet insurance and they always approve all my claims. Thank you Nationwide Pet insurance.

Easy to make a claim. Never had to fight for a refund on a claim. Check comes pretty quickly

I appreciated the condolence letter sent from Nationwide when my beautiful dog died. Maybe it was something small but it meant a lot to me

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
