Still as awesome as I remeber

I have had insurance through this company before - VPI (not sure if also Nationwide at the time) when I was an Underwriter at HSBC from 2003 to 2007. Mortgage industry crashed, job was lost, etc. & so forth. Life happened. I was thrilled when my current company finally offered pet insurance as part of my benefits package & even more thrilled when I saw it was underwritten by VPI. I didn't even think about it & signed right up. I feel like I never left. Submitting claims is even easier (technology in general has improved over the years lol), questions always answered, claims processed super fast. Nationwide's process from start to finish is seamless & easy...which is great when you have a sick pup and don't really need the added stress of fighting over coverage, payments, complicated filing processes. I have yet to encounter any issues and love the transparency. I appreciate you very much! My two pups thank you as well!

Very fast and easy to use

The speed of the process and the ease of using the app give me confidence that anytime something happens to one of my pets I can get them the best care. Because of Nationwide I have confidence that when I pay costly vet bills I will be protected and reimbursed. Thanks for being there in those tough times when our pets, they are members of our family, need help.

The one thing I don't have to worry about is how quickly Gracie's claim get processed.

Nationwide has been a God send for me. With Gracie's diagnosis I know I only have her for a few more months and with that will have some costly expenses. But I don't have to worry about getting them processed and turned around to me quickly. One less thing for me to worry about and I can have my thoughts deal with Gracie.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
