One of the best investments I've made for my furry family member was to purchase Nationwide insurance

Your program is wonderful. Everytime I have a friend who gets a new pet I basically beg them to invest in Nationwide pet insurance as you just never know what's going to happen and it's so refreshing to have the peace of mind that you can help your pet when they need it. Easy to submit a claim via computer or phone

Easy to submit a claim via computer or phone. But I did not like that they went back and now put a pre-existing condition that was not a pre-existing condition and changed my policy, This should be discussed before a decision was made.

This insurance has been a life saver!!

Honestly without Nationwide Pet Insurance we would not be able to afford the surgeries he has entailed over the last two months! He also got attacked by a coyote in between these two surgeries so it's been a relief to still have our dog with us!

Great, No Hassle Insurance.

We have submitted several claims in the last year that we have had the policy. They are submitted easily and paid quickly with no issues. I have highly recommended them to numerous friends with pets.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
