I couldn't do it without you

Thank you so much for your support. We never imagined Maia would get into something at the kennel that caused some sort of allergic reaction. Poor pup had to deal with so much. Thanks for easing the stress a bit for all ofus.

Nationwide made this a lot easier

Our 2-yr old developed a swollen cheek. Our usual vet could not see a cause via ultrasound but did a drain and flush plus a round of antibiotics. When the swelling came back, they sent us to a specialty vet with the surgical skills and imaging to better deal with the problem. Their CAT scan-guided surgery removed an abscess that seemed to have formed around a piece of plant matter. He's been off antibiotics for a few days now and healing is looking promising. Six vet visits, two involving total anesthesia made for quite some expense. We really appreciated not having to worry so much about the cost as we decided what to do. The new Website design has improved the ease of submitting claims as well.

We love our pet insurance!

I’m very happy with my Nationwide pet insurance policy. My partner is in graduate school, and I work for a non-profit. We can afford the $60 a month to make sure that our pet is safe when it comes to larger emergencies. Once we hit our deductible, most everything is paid for. This has been a life saver with our dog who developed allergies, and who we recently had to take to an emergency vet. We both wanted a forever friend out of undergrad, and insurance has helped us provide high quality care to our pup. I was on the fence about it for about 4 months before I finally decided to sign up. I’m thankful for it everyday!

Monthly Cost

Policies start at approximately $12 per month.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
