For one incident, we submitted 3 claims. Two of the claims' reimbursement came quickly, but there was a bit of confusion with the third claim, but was quickly resolved. We used the app to submit the claims, and we uploaded 2 documents. Although we received a 'successful upload' notice in the app, it turns out that only one of the document actually successfully uploaded, leaving the second (and most important) document, unsubmitted with the claim.
We had to call customer service to figure out what happened, and we had to resubmit the claim. Not a huge deal, but did delay our time to reimbursement by about one week.

I appreciate doing business with a company that values our pets as much as they do their human partners.
I'm a long time customer of VPI Ins. I have had it with several of my pets. If it was not for this policy I would probably not have been able to have so many pets in my life. Thank you for providing such a wonderful service for our furry friends.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
