MetLife | Pet Insurance Review

I decided to get insurance when a friend's dog came down with a grave illness, and they didn't have the money to care for her. So I decided to look into pet insurance for my guy before something like this happened to us. It is fairly expensive, partially because I got the plan that covers upkeep medications etc as well as emergencies. Plus my dog did get a hernia this year and had to have a surgery that was very expensive. I still looked around and found a surgeon at a better cost than the city veternarians, and between that and Met Life it worked out very well. I got my paperwork done, and have figured out how to get repaid when a major thing comes up. I feel good about this choice for my dog.

MetLife pet insurance is top of the line. Submitting claims is easy. You can use the app, or website, and you can even mail in claims. I choose to use the app, it is very easy. You just take pictures of your invoices, and any other documents related to your pet's visit.
