MetLife | Pet Insurance Review

Recently got pet insurance for both of my dogs thinking it would be a nice thing to have. My dog spent a few days vomiting and pooping before we were able to get her into the vet. Metlife wouldn't cover a dime as she lost a few pounds while she was puking, pooping, and hardly eating or drinking anything as it was deemed preexisting. Only to stumble upon these abysmal reviews.... So far would highly recommend looking elsewhere

MetLife is the best! I am so happy with how affordable & comprehensive this insurance is! It is easy to contact customer service & the customer service representatives are super helpful & curteous!

I have to dogs and have had MetLife for years . I sent in receipts and the amounts I spent and they claim it was out of the deadline for the claims . They said they tried to get hold of the people also for additional info with no response. I should be reimbursed for all my claims we’re talking about thousands of dollars !! More then over $3000 they only sent me $700 dollars and said they my main claims were denied because it was out of the to period . That was an excuse not to pay out my claim. I will be filing a lawsuit I have been paying for years . Over $200 a month .

I have used Met Life Pet Insurance for 2 years. I have been extremely satisfied with the company. This past claim was processed within a week. All claims for my 3 dogs have been accepted and reimbursed. I highly recommend this company.

MET Life pet insurance is a complete scam and should be investigated by the Attorney General. You pay you monthly premiums and they deny every claim stating that they were all a pre existing condition. I made 5 claims and each was denied using the pre existing condition excuse. I can only hope they get investigated by the government, and put out of business
