EASY PEASY!

honestly i ditched my first pet insurance because any time i submitted a claim- NOTHING WAS COVERED. they always found some reason or excuse and subsection of a rule for why (x) wasn’t covered or reimbursable. Lemonade makes it so easy to submit a claim with all of its documents and everything that said it would be covered (% of) in my plan WAS ACTUALLY REIMBURSABLE.

User Friendly, Great Customer Service!

I did unmeasurable amounts of research the first year of my pups life regarding pet insurance. I am so happy with my choice! After numerous emergency vet visits for a barely 1 year old I decided to bite the bullet and purchase a plan. Since then this plan has paid off 10 fold. The claims are approved within days and the funds send straight to your account within days. Knowing I can afford the vet no matter what gives me the peace of mind I can give my pup the care she deserves. If you’re thinking about it, just do it!

Insurance made easy

Lemonade has good coverage and great customer service. They are quick to refund for claims submitted, and their representatives are all very nice to work with.

Lemonade is the best pet insurance

It is so easy to file a claim and our reimbursements are in our bank the same day. Lemonade makes the process of pet insurance so clear and user friendly. 10 out 10 would recommend!

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
