Best choice for the pups

Using Lemonade pet insurance has been the easiest and best decision we could have made for the boys. We shopped around for a bit but ultimately decided on Lemonade because of the ease of their app and claim process. You can customize the package to fit exactly what you need for your pet and the price is affordable. All of the claims we've done so far have been processed within, I kid you not, a few seconds at most. Super easy app, super easy claim process.

Amazingly easy and efficient. Great customer service. Fast payment. Everything you could possibly want!!!

This is the first time I purchased insurance for a pet... and I'm a long-time pet owner. I was skeptical at first, but no more. This is the best thing one can do and should be on everyone's list... especially when purchasing a puppy. I am very happy with this, and have used it already. It is a seamless process. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a new pet.

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
