Love, Love, Love!

When I signed up for pet insurance for my fur baby I was expecting high prices and a crappy policy with hardly any reimbursement following costly puppy immunizations . However, this company by far is the best pet insurance policy I have ever had. From the application process all the way to the claim process was so effortless, transparent, simple, and quick. Receiving my reimbursement for my claims were even quicker. The customer service so far has surpassed my expectations and I look forward to obtaining more products Lemonade Ins has to offer!!!! No complaints whatsoever!

Lemonade has done a great job in claim and assistant

Lemonade has done a great job in communicating and assistant with my claim. The assistant helped me to figure out the details of the policy one by one as well as contacted the vet to understand the details of each payment to help me get claim approval smoother and sooner. She is always very patient and friendly.

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
