Nice to have a pet insurance policy…

Nice to have a pet insurance policy that adheres to covering what the documents in the the policy commit to cover with a minimum of hassle. It's straightforward to submit claims and they have been processed promptly. Our dog needed unexpected TPLO surgery and within two weeks of the submission of the claim, it had been paid according to the the policy plan. It's a bit more expensive than the prior company we had insurance with (who exited the business as it turns out) but also covers more so we are happy with it.

Healthy Paws Insurance Coverage

We've been pleased with our experience to date with Healthy Paws insurance. Our dog needed TPLO surgery about 3 weeks ago and the policy has covered exactly what we expected based on the policy documents. Claims have been processed on a timely basis and are straightforward to submit once you have the invoice and veterinary records to submit online. We'll be glad to renew our policy when it's time for that as our dogs are members of our family and we like the peace of mind having a good pet insurance policy brings for helping if there are unexpected medical expenses.

Heathy Paws is Horrible Joke

Heathy Paws is horrible. Bottom line. Anytime you have to file a claim the look for a loophole to deny it. Additionally they purposefully raised my rates 157% with no notification at alll because my animals are older. Horrible company. Editing this to say they never sent a email and are litterally lying. This company discriminates pet owners with older dogs.

Very satisfied customer after 4 years …

I have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for my dog for almost 4 years now and I have put 2 claims in so far. Both times I been reimbursed very quickly, and the claim process could not be any easier. Just submit everything right on your phone. They even send an email after to ask how the dog is doing after the procedures. I am extremely happy with their services and would recommend them.

False advertising

Title: False Advertising I enrolled my 1.5-year-old neutered Boxer mix with Healthy Paws based on their reputation and the understanding that rates wouldn’t increase arbitrarily. I was paying $48/month for 80% coverage with a $250 deductible, which felt reasonable. I’ve had a good experience with claims — the app is easy to use, and reimbursements were processed quickly. However, I was surprised and disappointed to see my monthly premium jump to $60, despite having no major claims or changes in coverage. When I signed up, I understood that rates would stay stable unless veterinary costs significantly increased. This hike feels excessive and poorly explained. After some research, I’ve found that many customers have experienced similar increases, which contradicts how Healthy Paws was originally marketed to me. I think it’s important for potential customers to know that premiums can rise sharply, even without claims. I’m now looking into other providers with more transparent pricing.
