Healthy paws is great

Healthy paws is great. Paperless. My dog needed surgery. Claim submission was very easy and reimbursement was seamless. Helped make a stressful health situation better. Very much recommend the company.

Fast Resolution of claims; kind and thoughtful concern by Healthy Paws staff

My 5 year old, rescued at 2 yrs, was suddenly struck with immune disorder, non-regenerative red blood cell anemia. It was a shock to our family but she seems to be slowly recovering through the emergency care she has been receiving the past 2 1/2 weeks, multiple visits and intense care the first 3 days.. The customer service and the quick resolution of all the claims has greatly eased our family's minds. We are grateful for the quick service and resolution.

I highly recommend Healthy Paws

I highly recommend Healthy Paws. It has been the best decision that I have made for my dog. Healthy Paws has allowed my dog to have a luxating patella surgery done on both of her knees and a revision surgery. They have saved me thousands of dollars. I'm very thankful for Healthy Paws.

Healthy Paws has been great!!!!!

Healthy Paws has been great. My puppy started having problems with pain early in his puppyhood. It has taken us almost two years to nail down the cause and some expensive vet bills in-between. Healthy Paws was there promptly paying these bills and sending me emails of condolences. I highly recommend them. The claims process is easy, quick and the reimbursements come promptly.

Healthy Paws' tremendous support

Healthy Paws supported us through the years with Tucker's health, especially when he got quite sick in the later years with cancer. Because of Healthy Paws, we were able to have Tucker with us for several years more. There was never any mention of insurance cancellation or our medical bills being declined, and the emails and phone contacts with the company were equally very good. I got to talk to people who cared instead of getting robotic responses. In this day and age of increasing electronic communication, Healthy Paws was a much-needed lifeline.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
