I can't believe that I needed to file a claim right after the waiting period was over. It was easy to file and when I called for questions everyone was extremely helpful. The claim was processed quickly and they even followed up to see how my puppy was doing. I would recommend them to all my pet families/friends.

I called to ask about a quote and what the term of the policy was. I told the guy my dog was currently in the hospital and I didn’t know what was wrong the vet doesn’t know quite yet. I named all her symptoms and he said anything related to her current symptoms would be pre existing, that sounded fishy to me. Then he started repeating her symptoms and alluded to the fact that she had a lot of things going on. It wasn’t what he said but how he said it, they won’t get my business!!

Good customer service is almost non-existent these days. It's unfortunate but true. Not the case with Healthy Paws. The process of signing up, was a piece of cake. Once signed up, they send emails that are short and to the point. When I needed to file a claim, it was easy. They have an online portal and an app. Both are easy to use, intuitive and don't require a bunch of hoops. They review claims immediately, it's surprising how fast. They pay out just as fast and their statements are easy to read. Our dog got pretty sick and the bills added up. I was afraid they would find sa loophole or reason not to pay and that simply was not the case. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking for pet insurance.
