Healthy Paws is Awesome

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has been very helpful. I've been a customer for a couple year, but never had to use it til recently. The process was quick and easy - the phone app is so helpful and the reimbursement was super fast, as well. When a pet isn't feeling well, it helps when the insurance company is easy to work with.

So pleased with the quality of customer service

I purchased pet insurance with Healthy Paws a couple years ago. Having always has pets, I never had pet insurance. Only after losing 2 pets did I see the benefits of having pet insurance. I have never had to file a claim til recently and it was so easy. The phone app makes it so quick and easy, it literally took a matter of minutes to complete. Within a week, the reimbursement was mailed to me - that time included them verifying with the doctor, etc... They even checked up to see how my dog was doing which was very thoughtful.

Excellent Pet Insurance

When our 1 year old cat got sick, all we wanted to was to help him.  What we didn't realize was how expensive his treatment would be and the Vets would not give the treatment unless it was paid upfront.  Healthy paws customer care team was fully supportive and took care of what we needed right away.  I almost wish I have this kind of health insurance for myself and my human children.  I believe in insurance and for your furry family member, get Healthy Paws.

Angel is my forever best friend

Angel is my forever best friend! Unfortunately, she had to undergo a major ACL/MCL surgery. While we can’t always prepare for these kinds of things Healthy Paws reassured me the day it happened they would have my back! I was literally in tears. Uncomplicated and quick help…

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
