Healthy Paws made my dog's major knee surgery a stress-free experience!

When I found out my dog would require a major surgery, I was nervous about the large price tag. Healthy Paws had my back in so many ways. Filing the claim was as easy as uploading my emailed documents, and the customer service team was with me every step of the way. They let me know when they started the claim, which was almost immediate. The claim was processed within a few days and came back with a clear explanation of all benefits. The refund was in my bank account the next day! Afterward they emailed me to make sure I didn't have any further questions, and the check on how my dog was feeling! I wish human insurance companies were this straightforward, compassionate, and reliable!

Best Insurance I've Used

My dog had a knee operation over 12 weeks ago. Thankfully Healthy Paws covered it because other companies didn't. He is now going to physical therapy and that is covered also. The claims could not be any easier to file with the Healthy Paws app. I get updates on the process..when it is received, processed and paid and it has been at lighting speed. Healthy Paws has made it so easy that all I need to do is focus on his recovery. Their customer service people are very kind and attentive. I'm very happy I chose this company 5 years ago when we got my pup!

Bad business practice. Crazy high silence premium increase

This place is a scam. They jacked up their premium in an insane amount very quickly. I started in 2018 for $47 a month, 2019, 80 a month and 2020 for 130 a month. Not a single notice before they rate increase happens. There is a class action law suit currently going with them. Tons of complaint on reddit. Do your search and do not use this insurance!

I enrolled my 8 week old puppy in…

I enrolled my 8 week old puppy in Healthy Paws after reading all of the great reviews. Best decision ever. The claims process is incredibly easy, the processing time incredibly fast, and the checks are also issued in about a week. I used VPI years ago and it was not nearly as easy or transparent a process- I couldn't recommend them highly enough. My pup has been diagnosed with allergies and even in the short time that we've had her, we have had to make a number of claims.
