A very satisfied customer!

You think you'll never need pet insurance until you do. Two weeks before Christmas an unleashed dog attacked my dog while she was being taken for a walk. The emergency vet bill came to nearly $1,000 and having that insurance allowed me to focus on her recovery. The claims process is smooth, and the reimbursement was deposited directly into my bank account. I even received a follow-up email asking how our dog was doing. I highly recommend Healthy Paws and am thankful that I have it.

Healthy Paws Pet insurance has provided great service.

Healthy Paws Pet insurance has provided me with superb service. Less than a week of owning my puppy, he ended up hospitalized. it was an unfortunate incident. I did expect to encounter medical bills so soon. Needless to say, I was thankful that I purchased pet insurance immediately upon acquiring my pup. Filing a claim with Healthy Paws was fast and easy. I was able to upload my vet bills via the app. The whole process of settling the claim took only 5 days. It was hassle-free. Couldn't Ask for More

We are so thankful we chose Healthy Paws as our pet insurance. Sadly, our new puppy had to visit the ER twice in one month. Healthy Paws reimbursed us for the majority of the bills minus our deductible. It was exceptionally easy to submit the claim and we received the check in no time! I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
