Outstanding Coverage, Claim Processing and Customer Service

What outstanding service. My cat, Julius, has had skin problems since he chose me, several years ago. After exhausting all options, at his primary vet, I finally got him in front of a cat dermatologist. A week later his lab test results came in, and we have identified what ails him. He will soon be starting, what will likely be, a life-long regimen of allergy medicine that should help alleviate his symptoms. I can tell you that Healthy Paws has been fantastic throughout this journey. Having pet insurance has really helped. When the specialist vet tells you the cost, to figure it all out, is over one thousand dollars... knowing I had coverage was such a relief. I find it much easier to move forward with what will best help Julius, rather than being hyper-focused on the bottom line of cost. The claims process is extremely smooth. I scan my receipts and vet notes, for each appointment - and within a day or two my claim is completed and paid. Phenomenal. And for that I say THANK YOU. They allow me to focus on my cat's health.

So efficient

I am so glad I got insurance early on for my pup, so far we’ve had to use it twice as she has GI issues. The claim process is super easy through their app, just submit a picture of your receipt and all set! The current premium is actually not that bad considering how much we have been using it, just wished it covered the examination fees. But overall great customer service!

I just was notified that the monthly amount for my two dogs goes up $100.00 a month! I've never even submitted a claim! I am so disgusted! What kind of a company would do this?

Happily Surprised & Impressed

We adopted / rescued our first family dog in June of 2020. As new dog owners, we wanted to be prepared for our new addition as much as possible. This included finding the best Pet Insurance. A co-worker with two dogs mentioned Healthy Paws and spoke very highly of the coverage, cost, and customer service. Given her positive experience we reviewed the offerings through Healthy Paws and looked no further. The policy we chose covers 90% of medical costs due to injuries / accidents and has a $250.00 deductible. A couple of weeks ago our dog suffered an obstruction and we had to take her to the Animal Hospital. After a full day of treatment we paid our bill and requested the appropriate invoices. When we told the Animal Hospital that he had pet insurance through Healthy Paws, the technician stated that they were one of the best insurances to work with which instantly gave me a sense of relief. The following day I opened our claim through the Healthy Paws app, took pictures of the invoices, and submitted my claim. Almost instantly I received an email from Healthy Paws asking for medical records (which the Animal Hospital sent to them), two days later our claim was processed and closed, and about 1 week later we received reimbursement. Honestly, I feel like our dog has better health insurance than we do! Healthy Paws also recently reached out to check in on our dog and that was a nice surprise. I am more than happy with Healthy Paws and lucky to have found such a great company.
