Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Our dog recently had to have his toe amputated because of an injury. The claim was easy to file and they paid 90% of the entire amount, after the deductible was met, with no tedious questions asked. We have 2 dogs covered by Healthy Paws and they have been great each time we have needed them. Also, we got the reimbursement check in record time!

It was a piece of mind that I could upload the emergency vet bill from my phone through the app. Then I see they started processing it immediately and I got an email saying that they are sorry my pup wasn’t feeling well. The check came so quick that I didn’t have to stress over having the money. Totally worth the monthly payment.

I wish you could have negotiated our policy. Poor business practice on your part. Please do better to retain your customers. 40% increases in policy costs without any claims is outright unacceptable and you should be embarrassed.

In February my 3 year old cat was diagnosed with kidney failure. He had been losing weight and was low energy. We took him to the vet and the blood results came back as Chronic kidney disease. They suggested that we hospitalize him immediately. We were told that it would be at least $500. a day. I called Healthy Paws after admitting him and explained our situation. They immediately began explaining what I needed to do and set our minds at ease that we could afford to give him the care that he needed. I was missing some paperwork from our rescue agency. Diana got on the phone to the agency and the vet associated with the agency ,to get what we needed to start the claims process. I was taken aback by the initiative and helpfulness of everyone with whom I had contact They were all amazing. I never felt like I was dealing with an insurance company. I was paid quickly and accurately for all of his medical care and supplies which came to over 5K dollars. Bentley will be on medication and will need vet visits frequently for the foreseeable future. Thanks to Healthy Paws I can give Bentley all the care that he needs without fear of big vet bills.

Healthy Paws coverage has allowed us to get our kitty the help he has needed., which has amounted to almost 12 thousand dollars. Without it, we would have had to say goodbye to him. That is just not acceptable to us. We are so glad we got the coerage as they were kittens. The policy is clear and easy to understand. Claims are processed very rapidly. Highly recommended.
