Kudos to Healthy Paws!

Wonderful customer service and very prompt attention to claims. They care about both pets and pet parents. My little girl has been with them since she was 12 weeks old and is now almost six years old. No problems till this year when she somehow fractured her tooth. Healthy Paws has been there to help us all the way and have been absolutely terrific. So grateful to them. Just referred a close relative who recently adopted a puppy. I know she’ll be as pleased with Healthy Paws as I am.

Having a pet and having Healthy Paws…

Having a pet and having Healthy Paws pet insurance is a no brainer. They have been there for me and my dog Emma consistently when I need them. Their system is easy to use, their reimbursements are almost instantaneous, they eliminate worry and stress at a very worrisome and stressful time. Can’t say enough about them. They are a company that actually cares about their customers. I recommend them to everyone I meet that has a pet.

Quick reimbursement

I have two cats, unfortunately both of them got CKD problem and teeth resorption problem. The costs are so high to take them for blood work every half year, and check their teeth if they need surgery. Healthy paws always reimburse the payment within a week!

Really fast reimbursement

Healthy Paws is the best insurance for my pet.

I just wanted to report that I couldn't be happier with the care, concern, and the rapidity of reimbursement for my pet's emergency visit. The claim submission is incredibly easy as well. They also followed up on my pet, showing their concern.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
