Great for the unexpected pet healthcare needs

Insurance is about peace of mind and when we brought our new Border Collie to our home, I wanted to make sure that our sweet and energetic/athletic new family member would be covered for potential unexpected health issues. He sustained an injury and per the policy, Healthy Paws helped to cover costs of the procedure that will help him lead a healthy and active life. Thanks for the support.

Great Insurance Company

My dog had a herniated disc and had to be rushed to the hospital for a operation. I send in the form to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and it was quick and easy with them letting me know every step of the process. It's been a month now and my dog is back playing again. Healthy Paws even emailed me to ask how he was doing! I'm very impressed with this insurance co. Within a week of sending in my claim, I was paid 80% which is great. Great!

Great Company, claim was fast and easy and they emailed me to ask how my dog Marco was doing. He had a herniated disc and had to be operated on asap. The Company was with me the whole way, and now he is healing nicely and back to his old self, one happy boy.

Easy to claim, very nice service and caring service

I would recommend Healthy Paws to all my friends. My dog had a major operation and they cover 80% of it. It was extremely easy to claim and they were very caring checking on my dog and his recovery.

Better than Human insurance!

My dog had a major operation and the service and claim process was extremely easy and worry free. They cover 80% of the operation and they were kind checking on the well being of my dog. I highly recommend them!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
