Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

When our dog started vomiting and refusing to eat/drink, we knew we needed to get him to the vet, but of course this all happened on a Sunday when our vet was closed. Having Healthy Paws pet insurance gave us the peace of mind that we could take him to the emergency vet hospital and have them perform all the necessary tests without worrying about the bill. The claims process was so easy and we received the reimbursement within a couple of weeks. I would recommend Healthy Paws to all pet parents!

Healthy Paws has been a shining light for our family during a dark time. Our Husky had surgery this past week, and because of Healthy Paws we were able to afford this unexpected expense. So disappointed with this company. Have been a loyal customer for years, recommended to friends, was a huge fan because they seemed to truly care about pets and people! But in the last two years they have become horrible. They cover half of what they used to cover. They make it challenging to submit claims (my mom, who I recommended this company to, had to go three different times to her vet to get crazy specific paperwork). Three years ago I paid 115 a month to insure my dog. Today got a bill for 400 DOLLARS PER MONTH to cover her. A 400 percent increase in 3 years?! Worst of all, I’ve called multiple times now and (after waiting weeks to receive a call back) had someone explain to me interest rates and insurance policies. I understand policy increases and rising costs. But I do not understand a 400% increase?! DO NOT TRUST this Company with your pets.
