Healthy Paws is the gold standard.

Healthy Paws is a reasonably priced health insurance for your furry friend. The monthly cost and deductible are very affordable. The staff genuinely seems to care for my dog and his well being. The claims are so fast and easy to complete. My dog has had the worst luck and I'm so glad Healthy Paws was there for us!

They will force your old pet off the system!

Healthy Paws will raise your premium to unaffordable levels once your pet ages to force them off insurance. A 50% increase to 108 a month for a 9 year old dog who has been covered for about 8 years is too high. Other reviewers online have complained of premiums of over $400 a month when their pet ages. I'm cutting my losses now with HP. I thought they were a trustworthy company but was proven wrong. DON'T FALL FOR IT! *************UPDATE*************** I love the cut and paste response from Healthy Paws. this is the same exact response everyone gets. When I took out the insurance initially HP advised me the yearly increases would be around 3-5%; not the over 50% rate increase I got. This is another lie from them. If you are thinking of insuring your pet please go back to their website and re-enter your pets information at 9 or 10 years old and watch what happens. It is unaffordable. Please don't fall for it like I did. If I can save just a few from being duped my efforts are worth it.

Highly Value and Recommend

I can't recommend Healthy Paws enough. As the owner of two dogs and one cat currently and multiple cats and dogs who have passed on, I don't know what I would do without good pet insurance. We've always gotten our pets on Healthy Paws early in life and we have never had an issue getting a claim paid quickly and as expected. We are so grateful for the coverage, especially the absence of a lifetime maximum. Our cats have undergone treatment for kidney disease and cancer and our senior dog has had multiple surgeries. For those who consider pets to be family pet insurance is a must have, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
