Healthy Paws is the best

I rescued my big dog 2 years ago. She is a love but has challenging health issues. She has seen 2 specialists for different issues. I am so grateful that Healthy Paws helped me afford these expensive services. Their claims process is smooth and painless. They have been responsive to me and my vet. And their premiums are reasonable. I highly recommend them to all of my family and friends who get a new pet

Healthy paws

Healthy paws has been amazing from the start. Submitting claims for 2 major abdominal surgeries was so easy and reimbursement was fast. They helped save our cats life!! HIGHLY recommend them!!

I have tried three different insurance…

I have tried three different insurance companies. Two were a disaster. Healthy Paws is amazing. The claims are processed quickly, when there are questions they are fair and professional and I feel like they have the welfare of me and my boys at heart. nThe first company we tried we fought with constantly, they went out of their way to connect procedures to re-existing conditions. Health Paws has been helpful and fair. They're clearly the best.

The Best of Them All

I have tried three different insurance companies. Two were a disaster (Especially ASPCA). Healthy Paws is amazing. The claims are processed quickly, when there are questions they are fair and professional and I feel like they have the welfare of me and my boys at heart. nThe first company we tried we fought with constantly, they went out of their way to connect procedures to re-existing conditions. Health Paws has been helpful and fair. They're clearly the best.

When our dog had an unfortunate serious…

When our dog had an unfortunate serious bout of vomiting/diarrhea, it was nice to know that a good chunk of the vet costs would be picked up by Healthy Paws. It's hard enough when your pet gets sick, so having that little extra peace of mind is all the more important. The claim process was transparent and straightforward, and happily our dog is back to her normal energetic self.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
