Going with HealthyPaws was the smartest pet decision we ever made.

Our poor dog needed his dog equivalent to an ACL repaired. What should have been a relatively normal recovery turned into a nightmare. We ended up getting X-rays every month for the last 8 months, plus a couple pain management overnight stays. HealthyPaws not only processed our claims remarkably fast, but also sent us personalized emails checking in on his recovery. Well now that he’s had his third procedure we think he’s finally in the homestretch. Without HealthyPaws his suffering could have been much worse.

Very easy process. I paid my vet, uploaded my itemized statement AND all medical records to the Healthy Paws site, then filed my claim. It was approved in 2 days, and I received a check in less than a week. Insurance for humans should be this simple!

Best INS experience!!

I was told that I needed to get puppy insurance ASAP bc Frenhies tend to have a lot of Health issues. Needless to say, we had our fair share of surgeries & am I glad I made the move!! I chose the 80/20 (20% out of pocket) policy and if I could, I’d bump it to the 90/10 (10% out of pocket.. I am so pleased. They make all transactions seamless and I’ve gotten paid in 5-7 days business days from submitting my claim. Every vet visit for my guy is not cheap but I’m just happy I have healthy paws to cover our unexpected expenses associated with our little guy. 10 out of 10 experience.

Great pet insurance, highly recommended

When we got Healthy paws insurance for our dog we had no idea how much we were going to need it. Our dog has been in ER three time or more and thanks to our pet insurance with Healthy Paws we were able to save soooooo much money. In addition to that they check on you and your dog to know you are doing ok. Such great service. Highly recommended

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
