Stay away, they will find every excuse in the world not to pay a claim, My dog had protein allergy prior to opening the policy with them, and now they tag everything as "allergy" so it's considered pre-existing, las two claims was for yeast infection in his year, first they declined saying they needed the "date of service" which by the way was on the invoice given by the vet, spent a lot of time calling them and they said they were just going to get it from the vet... and then i went online and it was declined again saying it was pre-existing lol.... unreal! they give you the run around so you get tired of calling, i paid them every month on time and they never covered one single claim... not worth the aggravation. I just canceled my policy and will dispute the last charge and will talk to my lawyer about this. Trust me, STAY AWAY from this!!!

I haven’t had any issues with claims being processed, and none of them have taken more than a few days. Customer service has been very helpful, and is available to answer questions quickly. I would definitely recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance.

We used Healthy Paws for health insurance for our Great Dane, Luna. We bought the insurance for her at birth and didn't use it for a few years, but then around age 4, she developed pneumonia, which required a short hospitalization and IV antibiotics. Then at age of 6, she tore her CCL. Healthy paws covered all of these treatments, a full CCL repair surgery (which is NOT cheap), AND her post surgery physical therapy. I've never encountered an insurance company that was so seamless and easy. Claims are processed quickly, and I've never been asked for extra documentation or had a denial. (Why can't human insurance be this easy?!) Luna is a happy and healthy girl now due to Healthy Paws. We will be using them for all future furry family members :)

They areso easy to deal with. We now have had 2surgeries, and payment is easy and prompt. If only my insurance was this good!
