I have had Healthy Paws insurance for a number of years

I have had Healthy Paws insurance for a number of years and they continue to out perform any of the other pet insurances I have had in the past. They answer your claims very fast and are very precise and clear on their coverages that they provide. You know exactly what to expect. No surprises I like that! Recently they came through for me again when I took my older dog to the Vet. For a suspected illness. I was able to go ahead with the suggested testing without stressing out how I could pay. I really like feeling like I can concentrate on my Dogs care versus the cost.

My 6 year old Cavalier has had multiple…

My 6 year old Cavalier has had multiple health issues. Without Healthy Paws insurance, it would have been hard to afford the procedures/medications/treatments that were required for him to survive and be healthy again. Claims are easy to submit online and reimbursements for claims are deposited into my bank account within days. I’m extremely pleased with the insurance and customer service.

Rhineoscopy exam

Recently PollyAnna started sneezing and acting lethargic. I took her to the Vet. who after examination found her mucous membranes extremely inflamed. She tested for fungus and some other possibilities and treated her for the inflammation. We submitted our claim to Healthy Paws and they answered it right away as they always have. Their coverage is clear and precise and you know exactly what they do and do not cover.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
