Happy Dog Mom

I have had Healthy Paws for four plus years and they have never disappointed me! My 4 year old dog recently required TPLO surgery and they provided direct pay to the surgeon, without this financial support and option, this surgery would not have been possible! They changed my dogs quality of life.

My dogs have been with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for a long time , and throughout the years with their varied health problems and surgeries, Healthy Paws has always been there for them. I can’t praise them enough for their diligence, professionalism and compassion and would recommend them for any pet owner!

This place is an absolute scam

This place is an absolute scam. I've been using their services for over 2 years, watching my monthly payment climb with my pet's age. I went to make my first claim this year after my pet had a minor foot accident which required a vet visit and some medication (all covered by my policy). They said I needed to upload my pet's complete medical history. Unfortunately, the old vet office never got back to us with my pet's records. Both myself and Healthy Paws tried numerous times to call, fax, email. Not a word from the old vet. Healthy Paws said they cannot reimburse or open my claim without the complete medical history. Only 2 years of missing history but they claim it it REQUIRED. Absolute terrible customer service. I've been paying into my plan for 2 years, thousands of dollars for a $100 claim to be denied over a non-respondent 3rd party. I canceled my policy today and will take it to another company.

Customer service

I submitted a claim back in August because my dog had to have surgery i submitted all the paperwork I had from the vet and they went ahead and closed my claim without communicating with me I have called several times and talked with a customer service representative and got no where with them. The claim process is not easy.

Worst nightmare

I had sent this over to Healthypaws customer service. “ I had contacted you guys several times regarding to my pet claim and for the third time the agent had assured me that they had received all the documents and yet I still get the message saying I need to upload my dog’s medical record. I had cancelled my card and will not continue this insurance since you guys are everyone’s worst nightmare to have insurance with. I truly do not understand how you guys are still operating as a business. I will spread as many reviews as possible so you guys can have your true color shown. ” Not your money worth.
