Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My cat's insurance policy increased from $110 in 3/22, to $507 a month in 4/22 - even though I've had a policy for her for about 9 years, and never made a claim - as she's now about 17, they clearly are penalizing me because of her age. They are allowed to operate differently in different states, and in California they are doing this to everyone with older cats/pets. They advertise that you won't be penalized for age, the premiums won't be terrible as your pet ages, etc, and they are heinous LIARS! By the time they do this your pet is too old to get insurance anywhere else, so you can either pay $6000 year for insurance, substantially lower your coverage, or go without. Run away from Healthy Paws as fast as possible.

I have my dog Ben insured with Healthy Paws. I was looking for an insurance co for my dog I reviewed all and found Healthy Paws was the best. I have had them for many years now. They are caring if you on the phone they take an interest in your question. I have submitted many claims for Ben. The are going to review and pay your claim in about 5 days. I have never had a claim denied. Ben needed emergency surgery. He needed throat surgery. But he had pneumonia on top of that. He remained in the hospital for 6 days. The stay was very expensive and Healthy Paws lived up to my expectations with paying my claim and doing so in a very timely manner. Great insurance CO. i find no better company.. Ben and CAROLE

We have had Healthy Paws insurance for many years. All claims have been processed quickly and easily. We recently had a major claim when our vet diagnosed a major problem in Mosses eye which required emergency surgery by a pet vision specialist. The bill for the surgery and follow up was in the thousands of dollars range. Healthy paws immediately paid the claim with no questions.
