Pet insurance is one of those things that doesn’t likely get a lot of 5 star reviews. But when it comes to healthy paws, I can’t say enough great things. They supported us every step of the way of our loving dogs 5 year fight with cancer. We got 5+ years of amazing quality time added to her life because of their support.

Healthy Paws has exceeded our expectations. They have been very dependable, easy to deal with and super quick to respond when we have had questions or to file a claim. Getting reimbursed for the vet bills was easy and we received most payments within 2r4 hours. It's nice to have that extra peace of mind knowing that if something were to happen, we would be covered for large vet bills. Especially in those emergency situations where every second counts. The customer service has always been pleasant and they have always gone above and beyond to help. Our greyhound is nearing 12 years old and without Healthy Paws, we could not manage the vet bills and medications. The insurance itself has made a difference in being able to provide for our pet. I met with a nutritionist after our 5-year-old adorable MorkiePoo had a flare-up of her IBD symptoms. We had to take her to the ER one night and then urgent care another but we still needed practical advice on reviewing and changing her IBD diet. The nutritionist I met with (Dr. Zanaga) was extremely compassionate, knowledgeable, and helpful. We are now ordering a complete Royal Canin z/d prescription dry dogfood to supplement Bella's home-cooked meals, which by themselves were not cutting it. And we are relieved to be on the right track, slowly introducing it to her over many days. Anyway, we appreciated the doctor and plan to connect with him again as Bella improves.

This company allows me to care for my dog the best possible way it times of accident or in our situation illness. My dog was diagnosed with bladder stones and a stone in the urethra which was slowing down urination and eventually would have led to blockage which would have been an emergency. With the help of healthy paws for all the diagnostics and then the transfer to a board certified surgeon , my boy was able to have surgery. He was hospitalized for 3 days total. The insurance covered everything expect the exams ans consultations. My baby is so worth it and glad to have him feeling so much better. We have had him home for 2 weeks now. He is almost back to his old self again.
