Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My cat and I cannot be more grateful for HealthyPaws! This is a good reliable insurance company for pets and pets parents. Claim precede is always accurate and easy. Direct deposit with entire claim processing time is within days. I have been using HealthyPaws in the past 6 years and referred to 4 of my coworkers. I highly recommend it.

I've been a Healthy Paws customer since 2014. I did a lot of research on Insurance carriers before deciding to go with Healthy Paws. They make claim filing easy and are responsive to questions. Claims are processed quickly and they can even direct deposit them if you want. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance to anyone with a pet...accidents DO HAPPEN. I signed up for healthy paws insurance when my beagle puppy was 2 months old after paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket for an early case of giardia and a scare that he swallowed a metal zipper hook. 6 years later I cannot express how valuable this company and its employees and services are. At age 2 my dog ruptured a spinal disc and was paralyzed in his lower back and both legs, which apparently is more common than we knew in dogs wiry heavy/dense bodies and short legs (like corgis, dachshunds, and beagles). The MRI, spinal surgery, and hospital stay were estimated at about $15,000. Lucky for us we were able to go for it without hesitation since we knew Healthy Paws would cover 80% and we could figure out $3,000 to help our fur baby walk again. He had another scare at age 3, and we just had a 3rd surgery at age 6- in addition to weekly physical therapy the last 4 years for maintenance of his condition. Our beagle is happy and sweet as ever, and we wouldnt be able to do it without Healthy Paws pet insurance! We are forever grateful to the service they provide, and of course to the wonderful veterinarians and surgeons out there who care about our pup. The reimbursements come through so quickly- usually within 48 hours! And we are grateful for the financial help to maintain our dog’s ability to walk. Healthy Paws makes medical decision-making easy so you can focus on the health of your pet instead of the out of pocket expense. The peace of mind they provide is worth every penny. Not to mention their personal touch- their claims reps have reached out to personally check on Otis after each service! They truly care about their customers and our pets. Highly recommend!
